Kirby Signature Series Limited Warranty 

From the best, you expect the best.  That’s why The Kirby Company is pleased to offer a warranty that reflects the quality, reliability, and durability of our Kirby Signature Series vacuums to your customers. 

Warranty Coverage  

Kirby warrants the registered owner, who has proof of purchase from The Kirby Company or an authorized Kirby® Seller, that the Kirby Signature Series vacuum shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under ordinary household use as follows: 

Eight years motor and labor.  For eight years from date of purchase, an authorized Kirby Service Center will repair or replace a defective motor at no cost, labor charges included.   

Five years parts and labor.   For five years from date of purchase, an authorized Kirby Service Center will repair or replace defective parts, excluding expendable components as defined below, at no cost, labor charges included.

All warranty work must be performed by an authorized Kirby Service Center.  To find the nearest, authorized Kirby Service Center, please visit www.kirby.com/find-a-kirby-service-center.   

This warranty provides specific legal rights, and may also have other rights which vary from state to state. 

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover: 

Expendable components, such as HEPA filters, disposable filter bags, attachments (upholstery tool, duster brush, Turbo accessory, crevice tool), and brush rolls.  

Non-genuine Kirby parts.  

Any defect or damage that has been caused by the use or installation of non-genuine Kirby parts. 

Any defect or damage that has been caused by a non-authorized Kirby Service Center.   

The cost of any service or repair provided by a non-authorized Kirby Service Center.    

Damage caused by accident; misuse, including use that is not in accordance with operating instructions; negligence; or abuse. 

Normal maintenance, such as removing clogs and changing the filter, and cosmetic damage/ordinary wear and tear, such as scuffs, scratches and dents. 

Any Kirby Signature Series on which the serial number has been removed, defaced, or altered (other than by fire, flood, or other casualty or accident). 

Any Kirby Signature Series that has been used for commercial, professional, or retail purposes.  

A Kirby Signature Series that is purchased, used, or operated outside the United States of America; this warranty only applies while your Kirby Signature Series is physically located within the USA. 

Any claims by a subsequent owner of the Kirby Signature Series as this warranty is non-transferable.   

Warranty Limitations

There is no express representation, warranty, or condition relating to the Kirby Signature Series other than this warranty.  To the fullest extent permitted by law, any statutory, written, implied, or express representations, warranties, and conditions, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited by Kirby to (i) eight years from date of purchase with the motor and (ii) five years from date of purchase with any other defective parts, excluding expendable components.   Kirby neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any additional liability in connection with the sale of Kirby® products.   

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the warranty provided herein is your exclusive remedy as the registered owner of a Kirby Signature Series.  Kirby will not be liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages incurred in connection with your purchase or use of the Kirby Signature Series, whether based on contract, tort, strict or product liability, or any other legal theory.   

Some states do not allow: (i) limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or (ii) the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
